Goddam chocolate
bunnies, teasing me with their
smooth brown shells. Eat me,
they cry. One tells me,
I'm filled with caramel. I'm
meant to satisfy.
Another says, I'm
solid milk chocolate, for
a straight up craving.
The last one, in the
blue box, says, I've got candy
crisps within. Give up.
The caramel one
gets beheaded, the slight salt
of its innards mixed
with the tooth-aching
sweetness of its body. Gah!
How to resist them?

three months? Oh. You. Poor. Poor. Thing.
She's been teething that long, but The Tooth, only arrived on Easter.
I'm adding you to my google reader!!
I've been eating chocolate bunnies for breakfast. And then I wonder why my muffin top is getting out of hand.
I just recently started running again, and all of my efforts have been thwarted by all this flipping Easter candy. Ack!!!! It is so hard to say no to all that chocolate.
I do believe that chocolate is a necessary evil!
Mmmmm yes so far I have resisted, but for how long I am unsure. Be strong. ;) Great 'kus.
I am immune to the allure of chocolate...hot oatmeal cookies? My kryptonite, hold the raisins please.
I purposely bought NO candy this year. I probably can't get away with that ever again, the children will be wise to my ways.
The chocolate still mocks me too.
EAAATTT MEEEEE.
mmmmm chocolate bunnies....
Oh, I totally agree. Why does Easter candy hit just as it starts to warm up & you need to look great in a bathing suit? And, the girl scouts, too. Too many delights at your fingertips.
Resistance is futile. Bow before the chocolatey overlords. Then bite their tasty heads off.
Easter candy can
be a challenge hard to quash.
I’m glad there’s none here ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
